is there a reason you need the drivers? since its usb, it should be plug and play and you shouldnt need drivers unless there are specific features you want to use.

u gotta install the driver inorder to make it work..

not necessarily. windows come with some generic drivers.

try this.......connect the webcam to your usb port/go to control panel/printers and other hardware/in the left pane there should be an option called add hardware. click it and follow the directions. see if this works.

arrr still dont work

Any video camera with an IEEE 1394 (Firewire) connection can be used as a web cam. Maybe you would want to try this, if you have a video cam.

he just means that if you have video camera that connects to firewire, you could use that as a webcam.

It is an alternative. And it COULD have fixed his problem. People don't have to act like jerks. Happy Thanksgiving!

plug it in and download sisoft sandra or whatever its called.
install and then run the program, go to the ports applet and look for where you plugged it in on your system. in there it should give you the manufacturer's information. i had to do this a few days ago cos i couldn't remember how to spell the manufacturer of my webcam

Are you trying to use it in MSN or something?
Do the MSN audio/video setup and it will recognize it on it's own

otherwise google any numbers on the back of the camera to find out who made it

does it work after going through to msn webcam/mic setup wizard?

if it does then there's nothing wrong with your webcam, there's something wrong with your googling abilities

are there any numbers on the webcam at all?
GOOGLE THEM!

have had a look for it and there's only a couple of references (mostly in foriegn languages) which dont really help at all.
