i saw many people on this forum, asking for suggestions about
where they should buy the computer, or what to buy.
so i had some fun researching cheapeast and usable computer
here are the parts. have a look and leave me a comment

sweat lcd 19' monitor $180

motherboard+cpu $550 (which is really good, you can save up some money and get a cheaper one if you want)

my gaming computer Im making is going to be cheaper than that but its got a HDD I took out of an Emachine and the keyboard and mouse are ones I had lying around. The links don't work.
 
No offense thats not too good value-wise. And you forgot a video card.

I also wouldnt buy that LCD. If it seems too good to be true then it is (i.e. its probably crap)

I'm lucky enough to only live about an hour from Tiger Direct. I've gotten a lot of parts from them. never go there on fridays or weekends whew....you'll be there for hours.

You always get what you pay. Same thing as you would buy a car. To save a few bucks, maybe 10 or 20 is good for you, but not really decisive. Buy a Dell, might be a 100$ cheaper, but it's cheaper forever, cos you always will have a Dell ( at least for the next four or five years).
