getting around itunes lock

so i was looking for a way to convert my itunes files i paid for to mp3's i can play with a certain player on my computer. thought i should share this with everyone. its called tunebite(.com). they claim its illegal. what it does is it plays the song, and records it while listening. worked great for me.

Heard about this tool also and I would also be curious if it is legal or not, especially since it also converts video files....
