Getting Pics Off Windows Live Messanger

Hi guys, on Windows Live Messanger i have some pics that i deleted off my computer but are still on messanger. Is there anyway i can get them off messanger and save them back to my hard drive?

messenger makes a copy of your original pictures and stores it somewhere, i think the path is
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME\Local Settings\Application Data

just do a search for jpeg files in that specified folder

Thanks mate, i thought it must save them somewhere. I cant find the Local Settings\Application Data folders

OK well i found them folders but i still cant find the pics, any ideas?

it may be dumb but have you try removing them vis messenger itself ?
go to tools--> change display picture, then just remove, did u try that ?

That removes it off msn, then it will be gone for good i think?

I think there in a temp file but as there a TMP file i cant open them.

MSN doesn't store images on your machine. I say this because you'll still have the same display pictures if you log into your account from another computer. I don't think you can get your original pictures back through MSN.
