Getting pictures from a website

Hello! I hope that this is not a frequently asked question but I have not been able to find my answer by searching.

I go to a lot of web pages that have many many pictures organized by dates and well....categories. A lot of times I will see a thumbnail of a picture and think that it may be a great picture only to click on it and the actual picture is smaller than the thumbnail or only slightly larger. Is there a way to go to a website and list all the pictures for that site by size (kb, not dimensions); or maybe even just download all the pictures that they have there? I know that sometimes I go to a link from google and it shows up as a directory with folders and it shows all the files and their sizes right there before you even click on it, that would be great.

Well I hope that I can get a good answer or a point in the right direction! Thanks!

I dont quite get this error as it may not happen to most of us here. Usually all the webpages i visit and have images i would like to get all save as their actual size.
You may want to keep clicking image until it shows on your browser as "bigger" than the actual size you mentioned.

The image may be a scale of copyright infringement and may be blocking it.

Hope i have helped ;) :D

If you are using FireFox then there is an add-on called DownloadHelper which lets you download all the linked media, pictures, video, audio on a page. I use it all the time to download pictures.

Also, you can download an entire page using web crawler softwares like Teleport Pro.
