if there is only 1 user on my computer, can i get rid of that screen in Windows where it asks you to choose the user? im the only one on there, so its pointless clicking it every time.

i think its under control panel and user accounts, it should say something somewhere about "Show Welcome Screen" im not entirely sure were its at though... sorry

wait, i tried that, and it it got rid of the welcome screen, but now it gives me a popup where to put the username and password. even though the welcome screen shows 1 user, i actually have 2, "my name" and "administrator". is there any way i can make myself administrator and delete the other account? ( i know the password to both)

If you have microsoft net framework software installed, you need to uninstall it. Look under add/remove programs to see if its there and uninstall it and everything will be fine. but first go back and undo what the other poster said.

how? i installed the program, and i deleted that asp.net user, but i still cant find it.
firstly who told you to delete that user

second once you have installed tweak, then load it from the start menu under the folder Powertoys.
Once loaded expand the section called logon
then select the autologon feature and type the user name and password of the user that you want to be automatically logged on.
