Hey guys. My dad just bought a new camcorder, and filmed a concert of his band. Now he is trying to move the video from his Camera to a DVD. It records to miniDV, so we got a firewire cable and are able to transfer the video to the hard drive. Windows Movie Maker automatically popped up and he used that, only to find out you can only save it as DVAVI and then have to convert it to get it into DVD format. He also wants to edit and add effects in between songs and what not. I have Nero 7 so I let him use that, and he couldnt figure it out, and I dont know enough about it to use it properly. I just use it for CD Burning primarily. So if anyone can tell us how to specifically use Nero to do this, or recommend some other programs that are more user friendly than Nero that would be great.
