getting windows 7 on apple mac using parrel

Hi guys


So to be able to use some business softwear we need to get parrel so it can run windows aswell and ios.

we bought parrel from the apple store when we got the imac.

it doesnt have a cd drive so whats the best way of getting windows 7? i have an external drive.... is their a copy of windows 7 on here and i can just download it to my external drive and plug it in and boot it that way???


any help will be great thanks

You mean "Parallels"?

You'll need to find someone that has a copy of Windows 7, or purchase it from somewhere because you can't just download the ISOs anymore.

Yes! That's what I used to put win 8.1 on my computer this past weekend

You can only use that for retail licenses, not OEM which most people buy. If you enter an OEM key, it will say you have to go back to original supplier.

I guess I was wrong for a change lol. I just tried it using 2 OEM keys and it will give you the link to download the ISO. I tried this page months ago when someone posted it and they wouldn't allow OEM keys to download the ISO. So the link works as promised.
