gforce 8500 gt pci express problem

everytime i install my gforce 8500 gt pci express graphic card my system will not start and it is saying physical memory lost on a blue screen and it also trys dumping memory can someone help me and let me know what the problem is plz

When you say "install" what do you mean? Install just the card, or actually install drivers?

You using the cd or are you downloading them from nVidia?
