GFX5700 issues on ASUS A8V Deluxe

Board is not booting up period..

I do know that my old Ti4200 card works just fine on the board, and i also know the new fx5700 works fine on my old ESC MoBo. Now is there something im missing? i know the ASUS board speaks about not being able to support 3.3v AGP cards, instead use a 1.5v .. is that my issue here? or is there something else im missing?
How can i find out what voltage this card uses to determin if thats the case? or should this card work on my board?

What power supply do you have? It would seem counterproductive to have a socket939 ECS and then a socket939 ASUS (worth the upgrade but why buy the ECS to start) so i presume the ECS was a socket462/478 ... which implies smaller power consumption

ahh

see before i had a ESC with a 1.9gig Athlon, so you are correct it was a socket 472. If i recall i had a 400w pwr supply... could it be its not getting enough juice?
