Ghost partition. Need to delete it.

So, I have three harddrives. C, D, and F. When I am in 'My Computer' I can see a 4rth drive labeled G.

Properties of the G drive say its a local disk, and its file system is RAW. Used space and free space are both at 0bytes.

But this drive does not show up while im in disk management, and I cant open Acronis Disk Director, which I am guessing is because of this ghost partition.

It only comes up when the D or F drive is plugged in. Not sure what drive its connected to, but its one of those, cause with just the drive I use for C, its not there.

So, any thoughts on this? Any way to remove it. Even though my drives dont have partitions on them, it seems like im going to have to reformat and recreate a partition on a drive so this glitch doesnt show up.

Windows XP sp2. Also shows up in Vista Ultimate 64bit.

you can try this software E-aseus (ignore the dash. word editor wouldnt show the name without it) partition manager . it's free and it helped me solve many problems that Partition Magic could not. maybe it can help here too :)
