Gigabyte EP45-UD3R Motherboard CPU Cooling Solutions?

Does anyone have this motherboard and know what cooling options fit on the CPU? Right now I'm using the stock fan thing that the intel cpu's come with. It seems to work out fine, at about 89F idle, but, I'd like a bit of a sexier look for my cpu through the plexiglass. Anyone have any great sexy looking suggestions?

All you need is the socket type (LGA 775) and just find a cooler with the proper clip. Almost every cooler out right now is compatible with it.

I would recommend the Zalman 9700 or 9500A.

Cool, Thanks, I'll check out the Zalmans, I've just heard about folks buying coolers that don't fit because of the placement of things on the motherboards or whatever and wanted to have to avoid a return because of that. This board does seem to have a lot of space around the cpu slot from all the images I've been looking at online since I bought it..

I would also check out the Xigmatek S1283 usually cheaper and does a VERY good job with cooling. Just make sure to buy the Crossbow so no push-pins (will drop temps farther too)

Just make sure to read this for AS5

I use your motherboard and it is a PERFECT fit with room to spare. Just make sure to take your board out before attaching it or it can be a pain (I use tiny screwdrivers to take the fan on and off so I don't have to remove board)

My Q6600 @ 3.2ghz runs 1.36v and idle 32c and max loads of 60c on prime95 but normal 100% load = 55c or lower.
