Yes, they are. Thats why its deactivated. I have this board and its similar to that one.

EDIT : Well they have 2 other ddr3 775's but the dont have 2 PCI-E's...

You may be able to get that board through some other vendor, just not newegg. They discontinue items from time to time and possibly bring it back for awhile.

Just a guess here - but could it be b/c the resources are being directed to Core i7, core i5 sockets coming down the pipeline. The 775 is known to be on it's way out in terms of it's lifespan.

Zipzoomfly looks to be sold out too.
