Gigabyte GA-K8VT800M Not Powering On!!!

I have a Gigabyte GA-K8VT800M motherboard that's not powering on all of sudden. First of all, kids were playing and hit the computer tower. Ever since
then, USB keyboard and mouse stopped working. So I got new USB keyboard
and PS/2 mouse but they are not being recognized. I figured there might be a some kind of setting on BIOS that's been preventing the keyboard and mouse being recognized. So I took out the CMOS battery to reset the computer for few minutes and put back the battery. Now my computer doesn't even turn on. I switched the power supply just to make sure but
still no power. Can anyone tell me what's the problem and if there's any way if fixing it? I have a feeling that the motherboard is dead and usually dead motherboards don't come back to life. Thank you.

Did you check all the connections inside the computer to see if they're loose from when the kids hit the case?

yes i unplugged all the cables from the power supply and plugged
them back. as far as i know it's mostly the 4 pin and 20/24 that
causes computer to not turn on though.

did you reset the jumper for clearing the CMOS?
Did you put the battery in the right way?
Try that and dusting off everything.

I have not reset the jumper because i only see two pins instead of three.
Also I am not sure what it means by "right way" on battery. I thought
even if there's no battery, computer will still turn on. I pulled the battery
and placed it back like I always do so I think the answer is "yes."
