I built a computer about a year and a half ago using a Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R motherboard. It worked great up untill a couple months ago when the computer wouldn't turn on. I determined that the problem was the cpu fan wasn't running because the CPU_Fan power connection on the motherboard was shot. I hooked the fan up to the System_Fan2 power conection on the motherboard, and the computer worked perfect again. However this only lasted a couple days and now the fan won't work again and the computer won't turn on.
Can i reroute the fan connection so it doesn't have to run through the motherboard?
Thanks for any help,
Nick
