Yeah, it is worth it. My X800XL is awesome. It is however, 256mb, i think it is an ok price consdering my x800xl is 256mb and 149.99 Canadian

X800xl can't take advantage of 512MB video memory, so you will not see any difference between 512MB X800xl and 256MB X800xl.

X800xt is a good card, but you should also have a look on 7600GT because it is better and inexpensive.

what are the gpu & mem speeds on the x800 xl? my x800 xt pe runs pretty quick for an agp card if you can achieve the same speeds.
