gmail very slow

I don't know if this is a problem with my computer or not. But for the last couple a weeks gmail is getting slower and slower. I've red about google having hardware shortages and stuff. But that was about the search engine. Anyone got the same problem or knows the solution to my problem?

I had this but with yahoo they really are nothing compared to gmail

I'd had occaional ups and downs.. but after that, it worked normally..
