I get them about 1 out of 8 tims i check my mail

i do occassionaly. its just routine i guess u could call it. maybe if u used a mail program such as thunderbird, that wouldnt ever happen, i dont know.

Yeah it happened to me before. However, only recently. My guess would be server maintenance. Even so, it does not bother me at all and happens in hotmail often.

It happened to me once a long time ago. But at the moment it is working perfectly. Although I wonder what happened to that little "your messege has been sent" that pops up at the top when you send a messege.

For hotmail, you need a 3rd party program like Hotmail Popper. It has a small fee, but is definitely worth it. For Gmail, you need to go into the options on www.gmail.com and enable pop3. Then go into the account settings for it on thunderbird, then click on gmails server settings and check the box next to "Use Secure Connection (SSL)"
