Everytime i open gmail and try to read a mail it just says that its loading but takes ages! why could this be and im sick to death of it! i just cant seem to read emails! its stupid.

my internet has been slow but i can access pretty much everything else.

thanks. if you need any info then just ask.

its a DSL line. cheers :(

bit common sense goes a long way really. so what could the problem be with FF i have never really had it before until a few weeks ago.

Thanks :)

this happens sometimes to me, but only once, and not very often, i usually hit refresh and it loads fine, try clearing out your cookies and cache in FF and see if it helps at all.

well i tried to do this also in IE which i never use and its also not working there. what else would you suggest? its rare that i actually use IE, in fact i dont the last time when i did!

:)

I don't know if it helps, but my Gmail works perfectly with FF. It might be that your internet is too slow, downloading updates or something....

also in Ie it gave me a message saying unable to reach mail. you ever had that? cos i havent :)
nope, never had that, i've had it when its taken too long to load and you get the little message saying "Ooops, looks like this is taking longer than expected, try again in a few moments" or something along those lines... But i refresh and it works, do you have another PC to try it on, that would narrow it down to either your pc OR your internet connection...

thanks Dragon, how could my PC be causing this? what could be going wrong with it! i think it may be an internet issue but in general computers are issues anyway!

Thanks and i'll keep trying!

not really sure how it could be just your pc, but its always a possibility, also, you might want to try flushing your DNS cahce, its a very long shot, but it might help something

Head into command prompt and type "ipconfig /flushdns" without the quotes obviously.
