go with a build like this or sandybridge build

so im in a little dilemma i really need a new pc and have been going back and forth with alot of things now with sandy bridge announced it makes things that much harder i dont know if i should build a pc based on that or what i was going to do this is my first pc build and im struggling to finalize

is it worth going with sandy bridge? which processor in the lineup should i go for that would be equal to my current layout here?...when will the motherboards and processors be available on sites such as newegg?

any other comments on the build are welcomed

Sandy Bridge defo. You can overclock an $217 i5-2500K to give similar/better performance than an i7-950.
ASAP I imagine, January 5th.
Why 1333MHz DDR3 when 1600MHz is cheaper?
I'd get a better GPU, at least GTX460 for a build such as yours, the HD5770 is a bit weak when compared to i7s. Usage>?

oh yea i think i chose that ram by mistake...i really dont want to overclock with whatever processor i get just cause this is my first build and want to keep it somewhat basic leave the overclocking to the future

with gpu i prefer ati just personal preference if you can recommend one that would be great i dont need anything crazy just need it to be up to par with the system im not going to be doing any gaming but will be doing basic photo and video editing
 
so if i go with a p67 board is there integrated graphics on that at as well?..im going to get a separate video card i figure thats better in case i decide to do different stuff later on plus the other boards i think you cant overclock so i might do that as well in the future



if theres integrated graphics on that board do i have to turn it off in some way when using a separate gpu?

yes when there is intergrated graphics onboard then you will need to turn it off to use your added GPU
 
i read this in pcworld article

can anyone show me a video or exactly explain how this brack is install as i said this is my first build and like to be prepared dont want to run into any problems when im installing things..also does this processor come like the 950 with the thermal paste already applied or do you have to do it your self?
 
I'm very interested in the Sandy Bridge builds myself, but I have heard nothing about the cost of the 1155 socket mobos. I'm worried about that.
