going for xp on toshiba

Hey guys i making the move to xp soon but trying understand few things i did my homework and find the drivers for my laptop. Do i format my hd than i can proceed to install window xp correct? also after installing window xp do i install BIOS Update (Windows Installation) for xp?

can some one take a loook tell me what i have to install or should i install everything?

also more importanly in the future i want go back to vista will the recovery disk do my orginal setting how i bought my laptop?
 
stick the xp cd in, boot off the cd, format the drive and let it install. once its installed you will have to wait and see what drivers need installing as you may well have most of them already installed for you!
 
It depends on what you have on the recovery disk. You probably will be able to go back to Vista, but why would you switch to XP from Vista.
