Good animator

Hey, I need a program to make animations based on picture files. Something that will be good for sigs. Besides adobe photoshop. Thanks.

Preferably with a free trial so i know what to buy.
 
Macromedia Flash?

Do you actually want the animation to move? If so, then Flash is the best for that, I personally use it and it's great!
 
Yeah, it is really expansive but if you get the whole macromedia studio package, you'll get Flash (animation), Fireworks( same as photoshop but I prefer it), Dreamweaver (crappy HTML editor in my opinion). What is really cool about these programs is that you can go from on to the other in one click while making your animation.
