Good Battery?

I'm in need of a new laptop battery. (for my freebie laptop in sig. won't hold charge) Do you think this is a good battery http://www.justdeals.com/Items/02K6616 or should I go w/ a more expensive one? http://www.apexbattery.com/ibm-thinkpad-a22p-laptop-battery.html. Basically where's the best place to buy laptop batteries on the web?

that one above ^^^

is a higher capacity (6000 MAH) than the cheap one you are looking at (5400 MAH) for about the same price

I do not see anything in that $130 one that is worth the money
there is tons on ebay, for decent pricing, do your research, get a better deal...

read the description of the item real well, then look at the guys feedback, if it's good bid, thats what i do.

buying a battery off ebay is pretty hit and miss. I've always found that a brand new battery is the best way to go.
However, as long as the battery is an official one and its in good condition you should be fine.
Also, be sure to rule out problems with the system not charging the battery rather than the battery being at fault.

I believe that somewhere in the control panel..."Power Options", there might be somewhere that can give you battery status. So while the machine is plugged in, it SHOULD, don't quote me, tell you if the battery is charging or not..
