Good brands?

I know I already have other post about the same topic. But it seems that when you add a question to the original post the second one doesnt get answered.

ANYWAY.

I wanted to know if Rosewill and Apevia are a good brand. I have seen many of their PSU in NEWEGG.

I had a similar question and I will tell you, that section helped me out bigtime. Personally I like Apevia, but in my eyes it is a toss up

Apevia is not a good brand for powersupplies. Rosewill is decent, my friend has one and it's pretty nice.

Apevia (otherwise known as Aspire) is junk, Rosewell are okay, but Antec, Enermax, and Ultra are better.

How much cash you want to shell out on one?

I think less than a $100 since I think there are good ones in that price range.

I was thinking of this one like I said. Since it is reccommended by the forum. It also has cool lighting so it will make my case look even better

I would look into the Antec TruePower-II 550W.

The OCZ OCZ GameXStream is superb, if you can stretch a little. If not, the Antec NeoHE 500W (although the OCZ is well worth the extra money), Silverstone SST-ST50EF, or Sunbeam Nuuo are good units.

As for your other question, Apevia (Aspire) are somewhat variable. The units included with the cases are generally terrible, although the retail units aren't bad (but far from the top of my list of recommendations). Rosewill produce some high powered, well featured units particularly at the budget end of the scale, but I certainly wouldn't consider them high-end.
