I made this post because I want some constructive criticism; is this setup good, bad, could it use improvement? I am also debating if I should get an SSD or not (I really don't know much about computers but I know that they're faster or something), but I have almost a terabyte on my hard drive. Also, would my PSU be a problem for the current setup that I have (I have a 500 Watt Basiq Pwer PSU)? Budget isn't really a concern for me at the moment, so please offer anything that you think would improve my setup. Thank you so much!

Looks good but you need a new PSU. Corsair CX 600 would be a good choice. Also you might want/need a good case depending on how much space you have inside for a GPU.

Kind of a hard question to answer, but maybe 3-5 years?

It all depends on what you're doing with it and what your expectations are. 'How long will it last?' is all relative.

Yes, ^ that.

For the OP, my desktop setup is 3 years old and still able to hold it's own with newer non-gaming systems. I upgraded one of the Drives, but unless I get the urge to build a new one just for the hell of it, I'll probably have this one for another 2-3 years. The laptop I use is a Dell from 2003; heavy but still quick for what I use it for. My parents had (still have?) a something-or-other desktop from 1998ish-era. It's clunky, loud, and feels like a space heater, but it's in the corner of a Guest bedroom and it's sole purpose is for visitors to check email or surf the web, both of which it still excels at.

That was actually going to be my next question haha. I have a decent case right now, but if I were to buy a new one, what would be a good smaller one for me?
