Is This A Good Deal For $538?

its not bad. you might be able to find better for cheaper if you shop around a little bit. where are you getting it from?

have you tried any other websites such as bestbuy or circuit city. sometimes they have better deals. you might wanna check and see if they have any sales going on.

For cheap systems, stay away from Dell. All of their cheaper ones have been nothing but junk. Midrange systems are ok, high end are more overpriced.

Thanks for all the help everyone, Ill look around abit more for other brands:D
Anyone know any good sites to buy from?

Well for $538, you're not really asking for much and you're definitely not going to get much. If you've got your heart set on that model, I would definitely spend a little bit more just for the Pentium M chip. You'll get a lot of power and extra battery life.

for all systems stay away from dell, well maybe their most expensive LAPTOPS are ok, but the rest are in my opinion sh*t!

Would you guys happen to know any other sites to go to for Laptops? If so could you message them to me on here. Id appreciate it =)

Well i don't know the celeron uis not a great p[rocessor.

You can find better deals:

Myself for 650 canadian i just found the following:

Toshiba pro m10

pentium M centrino 1.5 Gz
512mb Ram upgradable to 2 GB
60GB HDD
15" screen
DVD/CD burner

the pentium M chips are WAYYYY better then the celeron chips If you looking for new then you will most likely not find a pentium M laptop for 500 dollars but if your willing to go used then you can find better deals then the one you found. look around
