good dvd players?

I was wondering... I am on dial up internet :( and I want a dvd player that takes under 20mins to dload! Speed: 49.2 Kbps Yes it sucks but I need one! I can not play my new movie "Disaster Movie" in my computer on windows media player because it says my driver is not verified or something about my graphics card not installed? I do have it installed! Plays other discs fine! Can I convert the movie to pc or something?:confused:
 
you can play dvds in windows media player with the right codecs. K lite codec or something like that is the one I have. Just do a search for dvd decoders on google
 
It's likey that if you purchased the DVD burner aftermark it came with something like Power DVD. If you install that you don't have to use it but Windows Media Player can use the codecs. I never recommend installing a codec pack since they come with more codecs then you need and can cause issues.

FFD show for your codecs , and a player like MPC HC. or VLC is usually a nice enough combo and not so much a resource hog as WMPx
