Good enough PSU?

Yep, excellent brilliant PSU. I am dual carding (yea only 8600GTs, buts still SLI) with the same PSU and it is probably only under 60% usage which is just about perfect because that is the point at which they are most efficient, good choice and is so nice to use
 
I wen't from GTX295 to GTX285 saved around $150(I had it under $500 still :) )
Changed to ASUS P6T Deluxe saved $10 =]
PSU from 1000W that costed $239 to 850 that costed $139
Changed TV tuner and saved anohter $10-$20
But then I got to add the OS and I Decided to DualBoot with XP & Vista because I have a few games that still won't run with vista.
Then I needed new speaker system and new keyboard becuase my sister "accidently" spilled Sprite on it.
 
Heh, I ran a 3850 with a $20 585W power supply. That 850W Corsair will hold up fine - you should be looking at the amperage on the rails, not so much the wattage.
 
yeh that psu will be a good buy!

im crossfire with 2x 4850's liquid cooled cpu with 10 lots of fans running 4 uv cathodes 2 hard drives still enough headroom for more goodies!

Right on about the amperage, but Oscary is notorious for the crap psu lover! :o
