Good free email provider?

Hello there I would like to know if you can suggest to me any good free email provider that it's not Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo!. I was suggested with mail.com and gmx.com but there sites seem to have problems since I can complete my registration.

Please help me with any suggestions...

I personally like Gmail a lot. My other university uses Gmail and I really like the easy to use interface.

There is nothing wrong with Gmail or the others mentioned above. It's just that I want to check other good email providers...

Okay I tried GMX but they did not let me create an account because could never complete my registration. I'm going for Lavabit. I just created an account and it is so simple and minimalist that I love it...

Live messenger works well for me,I used to use Gmail but got endless amounts of spam on a daily basis so i switched.

Gmail is definitely the best. I don't know why you wouldn't want to use it. I have been using Gmail for years.
