Good Hard Drive Size

whats a reasonable hard drive size for a laptop? I will be doing mostly pix, music, and such, and dont need space for gaming, so that is not an issue. I know i can buy upgrades, but the laptop i want for the price i want is 80 GB and i was wondering if that would be enough for the applications i described above. And, if you could give me links as to where i can find places to buy extra hard drive space. thanks

80G should be pretty good. It really depends how much you really plan to load on there... And you can't buy "extra" hard drive space. You can only add additional drives. Though, with a laptop, you can't really add another drive to it unless it's external.

My own personal opinion is the same that people had for RAM years ago: buy the biggest you can afford. I have a total of 100GB, it's starting to get filled up, and I certainly am no gamer!

I'll say get the 80 GB one, and just wait for the price of external hard disk to go down (electronics' prices always go down, not go up).
Just get the 80 GB one, and get the external later on if you really need more space.
