Good HTML programing programs?

Im looking to get into html programing. What are some good free programs for html? I dont want to spend much if any money getting started, when/if I can make money doing it I will buy a good program.

I know, I have done it that way before. But that way you really have to know what your doing. I can do basic stuff with it, but I cant start one from scratch.

if you are interested in learning how to code websites, you should really check out PHP as well.

Crimson Editor is a good one, it's free and it handles PHP and pretty much anything you could need when making homepages.

I use HTML-Kit for any website coding. I love it, I use the integrated FTP manager as well.
