Good LCD Monitor? Help Please

I dont know much about monitors so I am asking for some opinions on a good LCD monitor. I would like to have a 19" black monitor. My price range is $325.00 or less. Please only give me your thoughts on products you have used or know something about. Thanks in advance for all your help! Also please tell me what I should consider when looking for this monitor if you could. I want to get a better understanding on what I am shopping for.

Well I do pretty much everything except gaming. I do play games a little but nothing like battlefield or CS.

I have 2 dell 17" analog flat panels and i love em..for 300 u can get the 19", im not all that really informed about monitors, i just know i like the way they look, and theyre black and meet ur criteria.

This looks like a great monitor other then the slightly high refresh rate. As long as you not doing any gaming you should not have a problem.

If you need something with a lower refreshr rate then

SAMSUNG 915N-Black 19" 8ms LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 700:1 $294 after rebates is a good monitor but it does not have DVI like the last one.

This one has a lower contrast ratio but not sure if this would be bad or not. 8ms looks good and it is DVI and the reviews look awesome. Whats your opinion on this one?

Look at tigerdirect.com for the fujiplus 19" monitor. sometimes they have a sale for $200 after rebates. I got one and have really enjoyed it.

Wow, i thought 12ms was bad, but the viewsonic has a 20 MS REFRESH RATE!!! SOO SLOWWW!!!! Get one w/ 8ms refresh rate, easy on the eyes

There have been 16ms monitors that could beat out 12-8ms monitors. Different company's measure response differently. Most likely with the intent to mislead.

Also with prices as they are today I would consider one of Samsungs 4ms monitors. As a matter of fact I am .

Ok well I got my monitor and I didn't get it online. I actually found a good deal at best buy on this one they have a "todays price only" thing on it and I got it for $339.00 plus the tax of course. Anyway let me know what you think I hope I made the right choice.
