Good MB for duel X16 9800 GTX+

Hey guys, I just built a new PC and I am not that happy with my Asus motherboard. I should have got one that I can SLI.

I don't know that much about SLI, I have never done it before. Looking for some suggestions.

I was looking at the ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe. There seems to be some bad reviews on it, but what doesn't have some? I really don't want to spend a lot, I just want to be able to SLI 2 9800 GTX+ cards at 16X16.

I am going to buy another 9800 GTX+ card, and 4 more gb of ram and 64 bit vista. But for right now my setup is a Geforce 9800 GTX+, 4 GB kingston 1066, AMD Phenom 9600+, WD 250gb sata HD, Sony DVD burner sata, 32 bit XP home, 700 watt PS and Raidmax case.

Thanks for the quick response. Can I ask you why does the on board chipset matter, and why a 780? Just curious. And do I need to get a hybrid SLI or no. Don't really know what it is. I heard it uses the on board chipset to boost graphic proformance, is that right?

The 780 runs SLI with 2 X16 lanes. The 750 runs SLI with 2 X8 lanes. HybridSLI doesnt work with higher end cards. Only the HybridPower works with the 9800GTX+
