hi i'm looking at getting this mobo. i know it's a cheap on, but it's got a good north bridge and i like it's 4 ram slots.

yes, but if you are planning on upgrading to am3+ you will not be able to, socket appears to be a straight AM3, black sockets typically allow for am3+ compatibility
