Well obviously the more expensive ones perform better, but thats generally true with any computer components. As long as it has what your looking for, then that should be good enough.

SLI is basically having two video cards working together.

would you guys suggest going with like ddr2 or higher then pc 3200?

You can't get DDR2 for AMD boards, Intel only, and not all Intels support it.

Maybe if you told us what you plan to do with your machine then we can help better, your probably a gamer so any of the boards mentioned will do fine, they support the right type and quantity of hardware you will need to run the latest games.

I have a 6800gt 256mb, 3200 Athlon, 1GB Corsair VS DDR400 Ram, and the A8N-E board I posted and I can play Quake 4, CSS, HL2, Doom 3 etc, FEAR also with no problems.

ya if you look at my other threads ive got, Im doing this from scratch and so what I have so far is a a64 3700, debating on the vid card, and Im going to go with like a maybe a 300gig HD, and then like 2 gig ram

what Ill be using this for is games handeling all my video and heavy stuff like that alil internet, Ive got my laptop that I do all my office work on.

dude, if you are getting 939 you mite as well spring for a crossfire board, especially with an ATI video card. That way you can buy a slave card when you have enough. I would suggest you not get a DFI motherboard because usually they dont work that well with ATI video cards, especially their crossfire board which doesnt even work.
Now. If you want a hugely cheap crossfire board:

but i would suggest you spring the extra money for this one:

but fully suggest you spring the extra for this one because it is amazing, my friend has one:

as for your video card, i would suggest a retail version and not an OEM:

or the ATI card, whichever.
