Hey all... I know wireless is the devil when it comes to gaming, but i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one and need to go wireless!

I'm looking for the best Network adapter for online gaming, that is compatible with Windows 7 pro -64bit-

I've been going through a few different ones like D-Link and TPlink.. and all's i hear are complaints about their compatibility with Windows 7.. So any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks :)

I've been looking at the powerline adapters, but I can't quite figure out if they're worth it? .. I hear some mixed reviews on a lot of them, that signals are stronger with wireless and what not.. I guess results may vary...

If you can point me in a good direction to gain more info about them, that'd be awesome!

Is there any names that I should avoid when shopping for them?

If you want the best wireless performance, I would upgrade your home wireless router to 802.11ac, and use the 5GHz band as this will provide you with the best speed, and on 5GHz the channels are much, much less crowded which will lead to significantly less interference.
