Good PC games.

I'm probably going to go out tomorrow and get a new PC game, just wondering what games you think are worth buying. I might get COD4 but I'm not sure yet.
 
I recently got Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 and it's a lot of fun. Though it's supposed to be buggy, just like the first Vegas. I have only encountered an issue with the sound cutting out but that was easily fixed, it has only crashed once and that was after a few hours of playing. Mass Effect is also great, the only con being that you'll be absorbed into the game.

i have rsv2 and i really hate it :( terrible game imo
 
I recommend Sins Of A Solar Empire.
Its a mix of RTS games and 4X Games.

Think of a mix between Homeworld (Space RTS) and the Civilization Series (4X)
The developers got a perfect mix between the two and it has a very good pace, its not fast enough that you can't really get into a match but its not slow enough to bore you. Its PERFECTLY PACED.

They are long games though. On large maps the matches go for ever, I'm talking days.
 
although a bit dated now- HALO and FAR CRY have got to be two games I could play over and over again ;)

Ive had them crash on me and occasionally there's a very irritating bug where the sound from a gun (usually a LMG) keeps playing until the end of the round or until someone picks it up and shoots it one more time. It's still a good game though.
