Mobile AMD Sempron™ 3500+

Is this a good processor? I would like to get some info on it,if it is buggy and such.

What are you putting it in? and what are you mainly going to be doing? You won't find it to be a high end gaming chip but for average uses you wouldn't find too much wrong with it.

Just work, lots of typing, music, internet, and that type of stuff. I am not that much of a gamer...

Sempron's are a pretty average processor type. As for them being buggy, I have no firsthand experience with them, but they are used in a number of laptops and desktops so they shouldn't be too bad. Thats just my guess of course, again I've never actually used one.

Personally I skipped the laptop line altogether going from Intel to AMD desktops. I bypassed the Sempron line on the way from Socket A boards to 939 models. I jumped in a larger step there. I may even miss the dual core line to go with a quad core cpu on the next build.
