Good PSU Choice? Or Not?

Hi guys, I recently posted for some assistance on my case choice, and I had previously had a choice for the PSU but after looking at some reviews on it, I'm not so sure it's the safest bet. I was wanting the SeaSonic 620W M12II PSU, but a lot of the Newegg reviews seem to either say one of three things: It didn't work right out of the box, it stopped working soon after installation, or it had a malfunction that caused damage to other PC components.

So what I need from you guys is some advice. I need a modular PSU in the 600-700W range, with a max budget of $85, it needs to at least be 80 PLUS Certified, and it must fit a mid-tower ATX case. The PSU MUST be modular, and MUST be over 600W, and MUST be $85 or below. I would really appreciate one with a 80 PLUS certification and if it can be all black or black and blue that would be nice but I wont be too picky. Thanks in advance for your help guys.

Here's a link to the Newegg page to see for yourself:

People gave reviews such as:

"Smoked my PC."
"PSU = dead."
"...power supply was dead... Terrible customer service."
"Bad unit."
"...power issues..."
"I don't think it works."
"It never worked..."
"Returned unit..."

This just worries me, regardless of SeaSonic being a good and reputable brand of PSU, this particular product line smells of faultiness. Anyone that can testify to this particular PSU would be great and anyone with more advice in general. Thanks for the reply Rosewood.

The thing has a 81% approval rating on newegg. It doesnt get much better then that. Seasonic is a high quality brand. One of the best on the market.
