why not get something that's designed for your useage and get a motu ultralight or something similar.
sound cards for gaming/general use have poor a/d converters
something like the ultralight would give you the benefit of 96khz+ input, plus onboard effects for protools
not to mention 10 inputs, 14 outputs, and integrated servo management for queing multiple decks/sources for realtime mixing/mastering
i guess it depends on what you're planning on doing
do you have a studio? or are you just f'ing around?
