so my mobo died. well tomorrow I am heading to microcenter to get a new one, an h50, and possibly an ssd.

well I want to know a really good one for under 300 dollars with great oc'ing headroom and some tight features. at least 2 pci-e slots are a must as well as 6 240 pin ram slots. it must be triple channel optimized as well

I will give it some thought. not a big evga fan but we'll see. it does look awfully good. is there any way to avoid a reformat or just get a new hard drive, format that, and keep the one I currently have as a data drive? I have WAY too much saved on my hard drive and do NOT want have to reinstall and reformat.

Buying a new HDD and using the old one as data drive would be the simplest way. There are ways to get your hdd to work with a new mobo but you need some sort of software.
