Goodle Search gone.

On the recomendation of this forum I uploaded Lavasoft Ad Aware. This is working fine and seems to do the job.

However it has automatically changed my home page to Lavasoft Search which is very poor.

I would really like my Google search back, could someone kindly explain how I go about this. I use Firefox browser.

Whoever told you to use lava soft should be shot and thrown in the river.

I would uninstall it and download avast, free Antivirus and works well.

Hey now, Ad Aware used to be decent.

Once you uninstall lavasoft it should set your home page back to what you had. If not, then just go into firefox settings and reset your home page to google.
 
I used to run Lava back in the day. I did use Spybot Search and Destroy, but that turned to crap upon updating so I got rid of it. Since I use common sense installing stuff and run my browser in Sandboxie and use Bitdefender Free I'm good. I scan the computer with various scanners and my Adware scanner of choice is Superantispyware. But I have yet to find anything.
