Google alternative

Since Google has revamped its privacy policy starting 3/1/2012 , is there an alternative search engine that doesn't collect information on me?

I don't have gmail, I use Bing and it uses Google. I do use Google earth.

But I got emails on two different email accounts telling me Google was changing the policy.

apparently duckduckgo.com doesn't collect information.
