Google Homepage Question

On my old computer I was using Google as my homepage. I just bought a new computer because my old one broke and I just put Google as my homepage but I notice when I click on the search box it drops down into a scrool box and show all the stuff that I was just searching for (ig. UFC tickets). How do I turn off that feture? It really bugs me that every time click box that a bigger box drops below it:mad:. On my old computer I didn't do that. Please help.

I found the "use inline auto complete" but it was already unchecked. I tried enabaling it but it still shows the drop box, so I unchecked it again. I have Vista would that make a diffrence?
 
Yeah, try to delete Browsing History; there you have to delete cookies and history. But think twice first, is that worth it?

Go back to Internet Options-click the Content tab-down to auto complete-click on settings and uncheck Web addresses
 
That won't do it either, man.
Oh yes, again: You have to delete browsing history, then choose Delete Forms. Then it will be ok

That deleted the searches I made in the drop box, but is there a way to turn the dropbox for I don't have to keep doing that over and over?
 
I'm afraid I don't know.
Personally, I don't mind the drop box, but if I visit something that I don't want some1 see...I simply delete it. But again, I don't know how to make it never appear.:cool:
 
Well my way is to Never keep any history or cookie after you've closed Firefox.

I only get the drop down boxes if I've searched something before in the same session. After I've closed Firefox, I don't have it anymore.
