Google security certificate

Every time I try to search Google or go to any google site, including gmail, it says

"There is a problem with this website’s security certificate."

and makes me click to "continue to this website (not recommended)".

How do I do this once and for all without having to do it every time I visit these sites?

Replace the cmos battery, sounds like its dead. It's usually a cr2032 battery and is located on the motherboard. The cmos battery is what holds the system date and time while the computer is off. The date and time has to be correct for internet usage or you will get those messages.

all drug stores will have it. Else walmart, kmart or any other store. its a standard size battery.

Because the system date and time isn't correct. This means the cmos battery is dead and needs to be replaced. The date and time needs to be correct for internet usage, hence the reason for security certificates.

^ that, really.

Certificates have a valid time/date window to them. If your system detects a certificate that is signed outside of your system time it will mark it as invalid. You also may get the same behavior if you visit sites that have self-signed certificates, but that shouldn't be the case for the vast majority of websites (more commonly encountered for management web interfaces for devices).
