editforshortness:Thinking of cannibalizing my dead laptop to make a desktop of some sort. I need a Socket M motherboard that uses DDR2 SO-DIMM RAM, has a PCI-e slot big enough to not bottleneck an HD3450 (I think x4 would be ok?), and can accept an ATX power supply. Don't care about form factor.
Parts I have:
Core 2 Duo T7200 (2GHz/667Mz/Socket M)
2x1GB DDR2 SO-DIMM (I could deal with regular if need be...)
Radeon HD 3450
2 SATA drives (HDD/DVD, 2.5"/5.25")
Wireless card from either my laptop or this desktop (mini-PCIe/PCI)
Also- how would the 34W T7200 take to overclocking? It has a TDP of 34W, and is rated for 100°C...I don't plan on it but it seems like it has potential.
