2500K, no performance increase in bf3 when oced so its stock for now

havent been home since i got it so i cant say how it runs in bf3 on my 1080p monitor yet.
 
i just cant believe i oced my 7870 that much, am i making it unsafe or am i just supper lucky to have this magical card

I'd turn up the fan if you're not concerned about noise. Your current temps should be OK, but turn up the fan a bit and see what the temperatures are then. If you turn it up and suddenly our 7870 turns into a jet liner (ie, it gets noisy) and the temps only drop like 2C, then just put it back to how it is now.

It's an impressive build Adam! :)

rate now the fan stays under 45% always, any thing under 43 i cant even hear over the case fans.

i can change the fan settings so that they hover between 50-55 under load
and that will keep it under 70 constantly, but its a little louder :/ should i do that? what difference will it make in the life span of the card and will it effect stability or performance?

Well upping the fan speed will make the card run cooler so it should mean the card will last longer if anything.

Yeah change the settings so it runs at 50-55% under load, then play some games with it and see what sort of temperatures you're getting.
