got worm virus through usb flash drive

hi,

my sister connected her usb flash drive to my computer today, and the mcafee prompted a message saying it has detected and removed this virus:
W32/Autorun.worm.bm

i unplugged the flash drive the second i saw the messgae, and the mcafee claimed it blocked and removed the virus, but i had a windows message saying something like "the program has finished it's modifications and needs to reboot" which has me worried.
so far, my computer seems to be working ok.

anyone encounter this virus? i read that it modifies registry files. is there a way to reverse it's effects?

I would run a malware scan using Malwarebytes and post the log file from it.

The flash drive may still be infected.

Download and Run FlashDisinfector

You may have a flash drive infection. These worms travel through your portable drives. If they have been connected to other machines, they may now be infected.
•Please download Flash_Disinfector.exe by sUBs and save it to your desktop.
•Double-click Flash_Disinfector.exe to run it and follow any prompts that may appear.
Note: Some security programs will flag Flash_Disinfector as being some sort of malware, you can safely ignore these warnings•The utility may ask you to insert your flash drive and/or other removable drives including your mobile phone. Please do so and allow the utility to clean up those drives as well.
•Wait until it has finished scanning and then exit the program.
•Reboot your computer when done.
Note: Flash_Disinfector will create a hidden folder named autorun.inf in each partition and every USB drive plugged in when you ran it. Don't delete this folder. It will help protect your drives from future infection

i think the infection itself is probably gone, since mcafee and malwarebytes didn't find anything in full scans. but i am worried the virus damaged the registry befor mcafee removed it.
is there anyway to know if the registry is damaged? or if the virus downloaded a malicious file?
