When you click the "+" sign at the beginning of the version number you can click on the screen show here to see how those look. The I386 number seen on the far right simply shows compatibility with the IBM standard while the 0.3.3.0 or earlier version suitable will see the platform independent title.
You will note the difference between the 0.3.3.0 version and the one above there showing the I386 is for Linux maybe Solaris only on all of the later releases. I'm still waiting to see if a new version comes out here while Vista now has better partitioning tools included on the installation disk.
That's one thing people get tripped up on often when going for GParted they end up downloading the latest version but miss the platform independent release! Once you get that burn a few copies for safe keeping. It's a great tool ot have onhand even with Vista. It catches 1mb, 8mb gaps of drive space the XP installer often misses when creating new partitions too.
The 03.3.0 version loads alot faster then the older 0.2.8.1 and 0.2.5.1 icross platform releases. BurnOn works great at burning the 35mb iso onto cd-rs too. You can grab that free at http://www.burnworld.com/burnoncddvd/
