Does anyone know if its possible or know of anyone who could write software for an existing GPS unit made by GARMIN that would allow you to touch the screen and mark a specific location then send it to other GARMIN users allowing them to see your marked location?

Google Maps is way ahead of this... Go check around, all anyone would need to develop software to do this is a Google Maps API key. I'm sure it's been done.
